Luxury Bareboat Hire Terms and Conditions
All rates are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST. Fleet/vessel details, conditions and prices, were correct at time of publishing and are subject to change without notice.
All Charters
Payment Terms
A $1,000 deposit is required to confirm your charter if booking 90 days or more prior to your charter.
Full charter fees are required to confirm your charter if booking within 90 days of your charter.
Additional charges are due 7 days before your arrival: Damage waiver, Environmental Management Charge (EMC) Outboard fuel and LPG for the BBQ, stove and oven.
A grounding bond of $2,500 is payable upon check in.
A 1.5% surcharge applies to all card transactions.
Cancellation Fees
If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of paying the deposit, a full refund will be provided.
If a booking is cancelled 120+ days outside of commencement, a $250 admin fee would apply.
If you cancel your charter between 119 - 91 days prior to charter then the full deposit of $1000 will be forfeited.
If your charter is cancelled inside 90 days prior to your charter commencing, no refund will be given unless a substitute booking is obtained on that vessel over that same period. In the case of a substitute booking being found, the payment will be refunded less $1000. All cancellations must be received in writing.
*A cancellation is the "Charterer", as defined by the the Reference Schedule, making the Charter Contract void including date or vessel changes.
Damage Waiver
A non-refundable damage waiver of $55 per night (capped at $500) is charged to cover loss of the vessels inventory or minor damage to the vessel (excluding groundings).
Grounding Bond
A $2,500 grounding bond is held on a valid, nominated card by the charterer or crew upon check in on the day of departure. Upon return of the vessel, a contract diver will inspect the hull. If the report is returned with no damage to the hull, it will be released 5-7 days after your charter. Alternatively, it will be processed if there are any reports of your vessel running aground whilst you're on charter.
Environmental Management Charge
An Environmental Management Charge (EMC) applies to each visitor entering the marine park. The total fee is $39 per person payable prior to entering the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
Outboard Fuel & LPG
A flat $35 is payable for the outboard fuel for the tender and LPG for the BBQ and stove.
Vessel Fuel
Fuel used is to be paid for on completion of charter.
Travel Insurance
We highly recommend you take out adequate travel insurance cover to protect you if you need to cancel after the fees have become non-refundable or for disruptions to your holiday i.e cyclones.
Public Holiday Surcharges
An additional surcharge will be applicable for services provided on public holidays including Stay Aboards ($100), Briefings ($200), and 100% increased daily rates for Sail Guides, Skippers and Hosts.
